Keith, a former Oklahoma oil roughneck and semi-pro football player, separated himself from the post-Garth Brooks neo-traditionalist “hat acts” with his patriotic hit “The Angry American (Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue),” which came out in the wake of 9/11. Since 2002, Keith has scored seven No. 1 country hits with such tunes as “I Love This Bar, “ American Soldier,” “As Good as I Once Was” and “Love Me if You Can.”

Country duo Montgomery Gentry, who have landed several hits (“If You Ever Stop Loving Me,” “Something to Be Proud Of” and “Lucky Man”) of their own at No. 1 on the country singles chart, are also on the bill.

Tickets for the Cricket Wireless Pavilion show, priced from $25-$64, go on sale 10 a.m. – 2.pm. Friday, May 2, at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion box office, then tickets will remain on sale at the Dodge Theatre box office, 400 W. Washington Ave., Phoenix, all Ticketmaster outlets and online at ticketmaster.com and livenation.com.
