| Motley Crue brings “Crue Fest” to Cricket | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| By Chris Hansen Orf, Get Out | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| April 16, 2008 | ||||||||||||||||||||||
The festival will also include L.A. glam rockers Buckcherry, rap/rockers Papa Roach, Sixx: A.M. (Crue bassist Nikki Sixx’s side project with guitarist DJ Ashba and singer James Michael) and Trapt. Motley Crue, was one of the biggest hard rock bands of the 1980s, with albums such as “Shout at the Devil” (1983), “Theatre of Pain” (1985), “Girls, Girls, Girls” (1987) and “Dr. Feelgood” (1989) all going platinum. Despite some membership changes over the course of their 25-year recording career (singer Vince Neil left the band for five years in the ‘90s and drummer Tommy Lee, as of November 2007, is no longer with the group), Motley Crue is still a top-grossing live act. Tickets for the Cricket show, priced from $35-$101, go on sale at noon Saturday, April 19, at the Cricket Wireless Pavilion box office, all Ticketmaster locations and online at livenation.com.
