| By Chris Page, Get Out | ||||||||||||||||||||||
| March 24, 2008 | ||||||||||||||||||||||
The 27-year-old blues rocker earned a Grammy Award for his gospel-tinged 2006 platter, "Turn Around." The Fargo native burst onto the scene as a young wunderkind with his first album, Kid Jonny Lang & The Big Bang's "Smokin" (1995), at the tender age of 13. Tickets, $33.50 to $100 (the upper-most affording a V.I.P. meet and greet session with Lang), will be available at the Celebrity Theatre box office (440 N. 32nd St., Phoenix) or online at sandersonmusic.com. For more information, call (602) 267-1600. The show is part of the Sanderson Music Series, including concerts by jazzers The Rippingtons (June 6) and pop wailer Joss Stone (April 2). Contact Chris Page by email, or phone (480) 898-5656 |
