St. Patrick’s Day is the biggest one of the year for Casey Moore’s. Last year the Tempe patio bar went through 20 kegs of green beer and 700 pounds of corned beef and cabbage, says co-owner Gavin Rutledge, who dresses like a leprechaun for the holiday each year.

“We get characters every day of the year, but St. Patrick’s Day is Casey Moore’s on steroids,” he says.

St. Patrick's Day Guide

O’Donoghue’s Irish Pub general manager Paul Diskin expects his Scottsdale restaurant and bar will hit its maximum capacity of 650 by 3 p.m. Monday, March 17.

“We’re going to have a lot of business all day,” he predicts. And considering they’re an authentic Irish pub — Diskin says O’Donoghue’s was imported from Ireland — the general manager encourages people to try some Irish fare.

“We’re certainly going to be one of the better food places to go to for corned beef and cabbage,” he says.

They’re not the only East Valley Irish pubs that will celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
