Known as “The Fab Five” (a nod the The Beatles, who were dubbed “The Fab Four” at the height of Beatlemania in the mid-‘60s), Duran Duran achieved instant popularity in the U.S. when upstart music channel MTV began showing their stylish videos in the early ‘80s. The band went on to score nine Top 10 singles, including “Hungry Like the Wolf” (1982), “Is There Something I Should Know” (1983) and “A View to a Kill” (1985), during the rest of the decade, and lat reached the Top 10 singles chart in 1993 with the No. 3 “Ordinary World” in 1993.

Duran Duran is touring behind their latest disc, “Red Carpet Massacre,” which made the Top 40 album chart upon release in November 2007.
