Do you have your eyes on that new Coach bag, but can’t afford its $500 price tag? We feel your pain. And apparently so does Bag, Borrow or Steal — a Seattle-based e-company that allows customers to borrow purses on a monthly basis for a subscription fee.

Bag, Borrow or Steal is the Netflix of luxury bags, allowing fashionistas the opportunity to tote the latest Chanel clutch or Louis Vuitton Speedy Bag without having to dine on Ramen noodles for the remainder of the year. Customers also can rent brand-name baubles on the site.

Like Netflix, there is no time limit. Customers can keep items for a month or a year — as long as they continue to pay their monthly payments. Customers also can purchase bags on the Web site. Gently used bags are offered at a fraction of their original price through the site’s outlet store.
